The food and money combined will translate into nearly 130,000 meals for the hungry in central Ohio. “We know that every dollar raised and every can of food is put to good use,” said Michele Bondurant, program manager for human resources. “We are happy that the kindness of Ohio State faculty, staff and students will continue to reach far beyond the boundaries of our campus.” The drive took place on campus April 18 through As in year’s past, the Department of Athletics provided support to the campaign by donating $1 for each ticket sold for the Spring Game, held this year on April 23. New Athletics Director Gene Smith also helped raise visibility for the drive by kicking off the 2005 Food Parade at WBNS 10TV, also on April 23. Operation Feed is coordinated at Ohio State by the Office of Human Resources.
