Chan Park, East Asian Languages and Literatures, was awarded the Republic of Korea's Civil Merit Medal of Honor for her work in promoting Korean studies and culture in America at a ceremony at the Korean Consulate, Chicago, Jan. 5.
Alan Randall, Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics, has been invited to present the opening plenary address at the 50th Anniversary Conference of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society and will be inducted as a Distinguished Fellow.
