You're invited: Staff Benefits and Wellness Expo

The University Staff Advisory Committee invites you to join them at the Staff Benefits and Wellness Expo on Tuesday (3/13) 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Performance Hall at the Ohio Union. Historically known as the Hidden Benefits Fair, the Expo is taking place in partnership with the Office of the Chief Wellness Officer, Buckeye Wellness, OSU Health Plan and Your Plan for Health. This year, you can sign up for mini-breakout sessions, complete your biometric screening, have your headshot taken by a professional photographer and visit departmental and vendor booths with opportunities for Ohio State staff. Breakout sessions and biometric screenings are available on a first-come, first-serve basis so you are encouraged to sign up early.

First Ohio State student wins prestigious ISSCC award

For the first time, an electrical and computer engineering (ECE) student at Ohio State won a prestigious award for his research in solid-state circuits technology. Jack Hsueh received the Analog Devices (ADI) Outstanding Student Designer Award at the 2018 International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) in February. The event is the flagship gathering of scientists presenting cutting-edge research in circuit design.

Share your stories about Pomerene Hall

Pomerene Hall has been a part of the Ohio State landscape for decades. Over the years, the building has served many purposes, starting as a women’s building and more recently being home to the Department of Art History and the famous Mirror Lake Creamery. Over the past year and a half, Pomerene Hall has undergone renovations necessary to start the next chapter of the building’s story. To celebrate the rich history of Pomerene Hall, Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI), one of the renovated building's occupants, is creating a commemorative book. Sidewalk closure on John Herrick Drive

Now through early May, the sidewalk on the south side of John Herrick Drive, between the Biomedical Research Tower (BRT) and Wiseman Hall, will be closed for construction of an emergency vehicle access drive east of BRT, supporting the Cannon Drive relocation. View map for pedestrian detour.
