Gordon Gee will present the Outstanding Achievement Award in Nanotechnology to renowned Harvard University Chemistry Professor George Whitesides at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (3/26) in 1008 Evans Lab. College of Engineering Dean William Baeslack will deliver the opening remarks. Whitesides will conduct a seminar on "Unconventional Nanofabrication" following the award presentation. The event is jointly sponsored by the NSF Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center and the Institute of Materials Research and co-hosted by the Department of Chemistry. WOSU’s Fred Andrle will interview Simon and audience members may ask questions at the end, followed by tours of the new radio studios. There is no cost to attend but reservations are required. VETERINARY COLLEGE HOSTS PUPPY CLASSESThe OSU College of Veterinary Medicine is offering puppy socialization classes for puppies age 8-16 weeks and their owners. Weekly classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (3/27). OSU employees and students receive a $10 discount on the six-week course (regularly $100).
