FOR HEART PATIENTS, THIS DOWNLOAD IS A LIFESAVERConcerned that his patients, many with complex medical problems and extensive health histories, could have treatment delayed if they were unable to provide vital medical information to health care providers in an emergency, OSU cardiologist Curt Daniels turned to his computer for a novel solution. With funding from a benefactor, Daniels now dispenses memory sticks, or jump drives that, when connected to a computer, download in seconds the patient’s complete medical history. Contact: 292-2800 RELIGION AND THE MYSTERIOUS IN PRIME TIME APRIL 30The public is invited to attend a lecture by University of Denver professor Lynn Clark, “Religion and the Mysterious in Prime Time: Lost, Heroes and Other Myths of the Post-911 Era” at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (4/30) in the Wexner Film/Video Theater. Clark’s multimedia discussion will explore how people make sense of the religious, the vaguely religious, the sci-fi and the folkloric references in contemporary television, looking for clues as to the role television plays in our politically troubled world today. BIKE CORRAL AVAILABLE DURING SPRING FOOTBALL GAMEThe University Area Enrichment Association will host its Bike Corral during OSU's Spring Football Game to be held Saturday (4/19) in Ohio Stadium. Located on the green space along the east side of the Olentangy Bike Path just south of WHD (west of Cannon), the Corral will be open from 9 a.m.-4 or 4:30 p.m. The service is provided free of charge (donations accepted) and any bikes that remain will be taken to their office on 16th Avenue for later retrieval.
