Global Gateways video showcases international opportunities
The Office of International Affairs has published a new video about Ohio State's Global Gateways and the innovative approach these unique offices represent. Watch and see how the Global Gateways operate in key parts of the world, capitalizing on the strengths of the university's connections across the globe. The China Gateway has been operating in Shanghai since February 2010, while the Gateway office in Mumbai, India opened in March 2012. In 2014, Ohio State plans to open a Gateway in São Paulo, Brazil.

The OSU Health Plan offers Personal Health Coaching as a complimentary service for Your Plan for Health. This confidential and voluntary service assists individuals achieve personal wellness. With the support of an experienced Personal Health Coach, benefits-eligible faculty, staff and their adult dependents can work on health and wellness goals such as weight loss, nutrition, exercise, and stress management, while staying on track with their wellness plan. Sessions take place by phone and offer support, guidance, education, and resources.

Nahar recognized by American Physical Society
Sultana Nahar, OSU Department of Astronomy, received the prestigious John Wheatley Award by the American Physical Society at the national April meeting held in Denver, Colorado. The citation reads: "For efforts to promote physics research and teaching through collaboration, mentoring, and philanthropy in several third-world countries, and in particular for her promotion, as both an advocate and role model, of Muslim women scientists."
