YWSI is a weeklong program sponsored by the Ohio Supercomputer Center and Ohio State for middle-school girls. Designed to encourage girls’ interest in STEM fields, YWSI participants examine first-hand the human impacts on biological systems and then leverage technology to validate their findings.

The spread, or metastasis, of cancer cells is the leading cause of death in cancer patients.
