Seeking faculty, staff for University Conduct Board

Student Life – Student Conduct is seeking faculty and staff who are interested in serving on the University Conduct Board (UCB). A diverse UCB membership provides our students with fair and impartial hearings, promotes Ohio State values of acting with integrity and ensures accountability. UCB members attend training sessions and typically hear three to five cases per semester. Service offers a perspective on our students’ experiences, challenges and personal stages of development, and many say it allowed them a means to stretch themselves as educators.

Our data is safe — thanks to careful staffers like you!

Cybercriminals are continuing to target higher education, and they’re hitting us hard. Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, was targeted with a phishing scam that resulted in the theft of W-2 information from nearly 1,200 university employees. Ohio State was targeted by a similar scheme, but the administrator involved recognized the email was a phishing message and promptly reported it to report-phish@osu.edu. Continue to work smart and follow the best practices on our website. You are our first line of defense.
