Headline newsOSU MEDICAL CENTER FEATURED ON 100 MOST WIRED LISTThe Ohio State University Medical Center has made the list of the 100 Most
Wired Hospitals for the eighth consecutive year. The designation by the American
Hospital Association journal, Hospitals and Health Networks, recognizes hospitals
around the country for their advanced use of information technology to provide
the best quality care possible to patients. The list showcases hospitals that
use advanced information technology to improve operational efficiency, reduce
errors, increase use of evidence-based medicine and have better overall outcomes.
FARM SCIENCE REVIEW SET FOR SEPT. 18-20Precision agriculture technology, from familiar to new equipment, will be
displayed and demonstrated at this year’s Farm Science Review, to be
held Tuesday (9/18)-Thursday (9/20) at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center
in London, Ohio. Other activities include the Ohio State Horse Plowing Contest;
OSU Central, featuring demonstrations and displays from OSU colleges and departments;
and an arts and crafts exhibit tent. The event is sponsored by OSU Extension,
OARDC, and the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Tickets

RESEARCH FOUNDATION OFFERS TRAINING ON CAYUSE424Two introductory sessions and two practice labs will be offered in early September related to the Cayuse SF424 system, a Web-based product that facilitates electronic preparation and submission of proposals. The product provides significant auto-filling of forms, extensive error checking, and the ability to see the entire proposal as it will look to reviewers before submission - for both PC and Mac users. More > AMENDMENT FORM FOR HUMAN SUBJECTS RESEARCH REVISEDThe amendment form used to submit changes to IRB-approved research, Amendment/Changes
to Research, has been updated to a more user-friendly modular format. In addition,
appendices to the new streamlined form can be used to request changes individually
or in conjunction with the continuing review application. The previous version
of the form will continue to be accepted through the end of the calendar year.
The new amendment form, appendices, and instructions are available
