Headline newsDEAN ANDREWS TO RETURN TO FULL-TIME FACULTYInterim Executive Vice President and Provost Joseph Alutto has announced that
David Andrews, dean of the College of Education and Human Ecology, will resign
his position as dean, effective Monday (12/31). Andrews will return as a full-time
faculty member in the Department of Human Development and Family Science and
more fully devote his energies to his teaching and scholarly work. Subject
to approval by the Board of Trustees, Senior Associate Dean Sandra Stroot will
serve as interim dean, effective Tuesday (1/1/08), until a permanent dean is
appointed. A search committee for a new dean will be appointed in the near
future, and Dean John Roberts, College of Humanities, will serve as chair of
the committee.

Lengthy
passwords are harder to crack, so be creative. Do use: at least eight characters
and include upper and lowercase letters, punctuation, and numbers, and acronyms.
Don't use: dictionary words and proper names, personal information such as

at the attitudes toward multiculturalism, immigrants and immigration, conflicts
of values, and conflicts of identities. The event is presented by the Department

to earn academic credit while studying in another country at the Office of
International Affairs’ Study Abroad Fair from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday (10/12)
at the RPAC. The fair will showcase 100 different programs available in Asia,
the Middle East, South America, Europe and Africa. The event is free to attend

The campus flu campaign will include two dates - Wednesday (10/24)
and Wednesday (10/31) - for adult dependents (18 years of age and older) of
faculty and staff who are enrolled in a university medical plan. Dependents
