Gee to chair national Commission on Higher Education Attainment

Six presidential higher education associations announced this week the creation and first convening of a national Commission on Higher Education Attainment. The commission members were nominated by each of the presidential associations. President Gee will serve as chair. The commission's goal is to chart a course for greatly improving college retention and attainment and, in turn, restore the nation's higher education preeminence. The first commission meeting will take place Monday (10/31) at ACE's Washington, DC, offices. The commission is expected to complete its work by fall 2012.

Gavazzi says his executive transition coach made that initial torrent of activity and information much easier to process and that he's become a better leader for it.
