If your cell phone number is already in Employee Self Service (for faculty/staff) or BuckeyeLink (for students), then you are automatically registered for the Buckeye Alert text messaging system. Faculty, staff and students have the ability to register up to two additional cell phone numbers to receive text message notifications. Call for nominations: UITL Faculty Fellows
The University Institute for Teaching and Learning (UITL) invites applications for Research Faculty Fellow and Communications Faculty Fellow. Appointments range from 20 to 25 percent time and may begin spring semester. Faculty from all ranks and appointment types are encouraged to apply. Please arrange for calls for applications to be distributed to faculty on your campus and in your college, department, division or program to help with identifying candidates. Applicants should submit an electronic letter of application and CV to the institute by Friday (12/9) for consideration.

Last day for your Bucks for Charity pledge
Give to your favorite charity one time or online through payroll deduction. Today (11/30) is the last day to make a donation to local nonprofit organizations that support our families, friends and neighbors. Donations at any level, even just $1 a day, significantly make a difference in our community. Also, pledge today to be entered into a prize drawing for Ohio State men’s basketball tickets. Benefits confirmation statements available online
Faculty and staff enrolled in Ohio State benefits can review their 2017 Benefits Confirmation Statement in Employee Self Service through Friday (12/2). Enrolled employees also will receive a copy of the 2017 Benefits Confirmation Statement at their home addresses. In Employee Self Service, select “View Confirmation Statement” under eBenefits. If you need to make changes, select “Benefits Enrollment” under eBenefits. This is the final opportunity, outside of a qualifying event, to change any of your 2017 benefits elections.

Experience dazzling new choreography created by Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) candidates from the Department of Dance at Urban Arts Space Thursday (12/1) to Saturday (12/3). Join the Emeritus Academy on Wednesday (12/7) for an open lecture by Richard Gunther, professor emeritus, Department of Political Science. His lecture, titled “The Politics of Redistricting Reform: Theory and Practice,” analyzes the processes of political change and presents an update on the prospects for reform of congressional redistricting.
