Led by search committee chair Steven Gabbe, the forum will provide an opportunity for arts and sciences colleagues to discuss the qualities that are most important in the next executive dean and vice provost of arts and sciences. Dentistry professors pursue the perfect smileOSU dentistry professors Stephen Rosenstiel and Henry Fields recently conducted a research study featured in dentistry’s premier publication, the Journal of the American Dental Association. Using an innovative computer-based survey method, they studied the essential factors in an “esthetic” or attractive smile, and their research documents new information about survey participants’ perceptions of the characteristics that make up a truly “perfect” smile. The findings will help clinicians to refine their treatment methods.
