OSU Police offer winter weather driving tips

Winter weather is here and the OSU Police Division would like to remind everyone to slow down and to be prepared for adverse driving conditions. Everything takes longer on slippery roads so give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go. Use slower acceleration, braking and steering to reduce your chances of losing control. Drive with your headlights on and make sure your windshield is clean. For more winter driving tips visit the Ohio Department of Transportation's web site. Contact: OSU Police Capt. Eric Whiteside, whiteside.6@dps.ohio-state.edu
