Ivan Mueller Award for Distinguished Service and Leadership
The Ivan I. Mueller Award for Distinguished Service and Leadership was established in 2012 by the American Geophysical Union in recognition of achievements in the field of geodesy beyond scientific and research contributions. The award honors Mueller for his major contribution to international programs over the past half century. Mueller is professor and chair emeritus in the Division of Geodetic Science, School of Earth Sciences. He is past president of both the International Association of Geodesy and the AGU Geodesy Section.

Origins addresses legacy of Morrill Land Grant Act
Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective from OSU's history department, has released a new issue, "Democratizing American Higher Education: The Legacy of the Morrill Land Grant Act" by OSU historian David Staley. He examines the interconnected and developing history of higher education—from the Morrill Land Grant Act, which sought to make education practical and accessible, to MOOCs (massive open online courses), the new kid on the block.

BuckeyeBox: Enterprise collaboration tool unveiled
A new service called BuckeyeBox will enhance collaboration for the Ohio State community. The Office of the CIO partnered with several campus units to implement BuckeyeBox, which allows users to host and share documents and folders, comment on the go, assign tasks and more. BuckeyeBox content is safe from data mining. Faculty and staff can activate their BuckeyeBox accounts at http://box.osu.edu.

Environmental Professionals Network breakfast Jan. 8
A panel of Ohio experts will discuss Green Infrastructure at the EPN 2nd Tuesdays Breakfast Club on Tuesday (1/8) at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center; doors will open at 7:15 a.m. The discussion will explore realizing the potential to improve our environment and reduce infrastructure costs through effective stormwater programs.
