COVID-19

COVID-19 vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine is available in very limited quantities and the first phases of distribution are to high-risk individuals, including frontline health care workers and first responders, followed by individuals living in nursing facilities. Prioritization of who receives the vaccine first is guided by federal and state governments. Guidelines for immunization of the general population are currently under development. The university is actively planning for expanded vaccine distribution as allowed by the State of Ohio and will work in coordination with Governor Mike DeWine as well as state and local health experts. Details will be shared when they are available. More information is available on the Safe and Healthy Buckeyes website.
