FY21 Blanket Order Season: Processing time frame = March 2 through May 15, 2020. In June and July 2020, Ohio State will implement Workday for human resources, payroll, finance and supply chain functionality. As a result, Procure to Pay Services/Purchasing must receive your FY21 Blanket and Term requisitions within the time frame of March 2 – May 15 to allow for adequate processing time. Blanket Order and Term requisitions received after this date may not be processed until after Workday Go Live July 6.

Tell your students about internship week. Tell your students about Internship Week, Feb. 24-28. Students are invited to attend sessions designed to help them write and practice their elevator pitch, prepare their resume, learn to network and much more! Students may pick and choose which sessions to attend, but are encouraged to attend as many as they are able. More info.

Bayou Buckeye's lifelong dream of attending Ohio State

Louisiana native George Bevan watched the Buckeyes win the National Championship in 2002, and he dreamed of one day attending Ohio State for college. Now living and working in the health care field in New Orleans, Bevan considered going back to school. He discovered Ohio State’s online BS in Health Sciences program, combining education, his passion for patient interaction and his goal of becoming a Buckeye -- all without giving up his life in Louisiana.

Biomedical 3D printing finds a home at CDME

The future of 3D printing for biomedical applications resides at Ohio State’s Center for Design and Manufacturing Excellence (CDME). Bridging the gap between additive manufacturing and biomedical sciences, CDME now houses its biomedical 3D printing capabilities in a centralized space. The center, which is located on Ohio State’s West Campus, offers a full-service environment where individuals or groups can execute 3D printing projects and access staff expertise.

Margaret Newell, professor in the Department of History, has received the Distinguished Scholar Award, which honors six Ohio State faculty members who demonstrate scholarly activity, research or other creative works representing exceptional achievements in their respective fields.
