Timing and guidelines for entering final grades
Entering final grades will be a little different this spring. To help faculty, the University Registrar and other partners have put together a step-by-step guide for entering grades, including Pass/No Pass and Incomplete. The University Registrar also is asking all instructors to wait to enter grades until April 28 to ensure that all student requests for Pass/No Pass and Incompletes have been processed.

Two Ohio State students receive prestigious NSEP Boren Award to study in Korea
Victoria Washington and Caitlyn Bahm have been awarded NSEP Boren Undergraduate Scholarships to study in South Korea during the 2020-21 school year. Washington is a junior majoring in Korean with a Chinese minor while Bahm graduates next month with a degree in security & intelligence and minors in Korean, Spanish and global public health.

The College of Arts and Sciences now offers a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This 12-credit-hour certificate is open to all degree-seeking Ohio State students as well as anyone with a bachelor’s degree, including eligible Ohio State faculty and staff. We are offering a virtual Instructor Led session of our Initiator/Inquiry GL Experience session and an opportunity for testing. This three hour session provides an opportunity for hands-on learning that allows participants to create general journal and IDB journal entries and gain experience using different inquiry methods and time-saver tools within the training environment. This session is targeted to financial users who are going to take the Initiator Final Assessment to gain the journal entry role in the Financials system.
The University Staff Advisory Committee (USAC) is accepting applications for staff interested in serving on University Senate as a Staff Senator. The University Senate is comprised of 141 voting members including faculty, staff, students and administrators, with the Senate's primary responsibility being to advise campus leaders on the key educational and academic policy concerns.
A Staff Senator term is two years, with the option of a one-term renewal. Application materials are available through the USAC website. General questions and application materials can be sent to USAC via email at usac@osu.edu. Application deadline is May 15 at 5 p.m.
