COVID-19 return to campus signage

A base signage package focused on physical distancing, masking and hand hygiene has been deployed inside campus buildings. Additional signage, including wayfinding, directional or line queuing, is the responsibility of colleges and departments and is available on the UniPrint website. Please use only the approved university signage to ensure a uniform message and recognizable look. Signage not adhering to university standards may be removed.

Buckeye Alert system test

A Buckeye Alert system test will go out on Aug. 28. Students, faculty and staff on all Ohio State campuses will receive a text message that will be clearly identified as a test. If a Buckeye Alert is issued, information also will be posted at emergency.osu.edu. The system also sends severe weather alerts to the entire university community for tornado warnings.

Technology for YSP Buckeye Funder

COVID-19 has exposed the disparate access to technology among our students. Having accessible technology enables involvement in programs and access to academic requirements, and addresses the technological needs for students with minimal access. Through Sept. 11, the Young Scholars Program (YSP) is working to raise funds to provide technology to YSP participants across the nine YSP school districts for the purchase of 150 laptop computers and 150 Wi-Fi hot spot plans to ensure students have the necessary equipment to succeed.

Getting around campus

11th Avenue closure

On Aug. 26-29, 11th Avenue and the north sidewalk east of Neil Avenue will be closed to accommodate utility work. The 11th Avenue Garage will remain accessible from the east. Signage will detour pedestrians around the site. The ADA detour is on Worthington Street.
