COPEC, a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization, invites you to join us for new Financial Wellness education opportunities. COPEC will be hosting topical financial wellness discussions (along with open Q&A) with industry experts every day from 2-3 p.m. on COPEC Daily Webcast. ECE program ranks in top 25 nationwide

Ohio State's Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program officially entered top 25 status nationwide. The 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Undergraduate Engineering Schools rankings were released and Ohio State ECE earned a three-point jump from 27 to 24. The news follows on the heels of the Ohio State ECE graduate program previously earning an eight-point ranking increase from 30 to 22. Internationally, the Shanghai Ranking's Global Listing of Academic Subjects for 2020, placed Ohio State ECE at 21 within the United States and 32 worldwide among similar programs.

COVID-19 impacts on federal, state and local budgets

The Impact of COVID-19 on federal, state and local budgets will be the sixth in a series of events on “Cities and Regions in the Post-Coronavirus Era,” initiating community conversations on what lessons we can learn from this crisis to create a more resilient and sustainable world. The discussion will cover how much have federal, state and local budgets been (or will be) impacted by COVID-19 and what the implications of this impact mean going forward for communities. Did we learn anything from the Great Recession of 2008 that has helped or will help us during this financial crisis? This conversation will take place on Oct. 23 at noon.

2020 symposium on children

Like every other facet of our society, early child care and education is plagued by racial inequities and injustice and requires urgent attention. As we look at solutions for stronger programs and policies, we must lead, discuss, collaborate, legislate, research, teach and problem-solve with anti-bias and anti-racist (ABAR) practices at the forefront. License plate policy citations changes

Following the new license plate visibility policy that went into effect Aug. 1, vehicles should park on campus with a license plate visible from the drive lane. While courtesy warnings will continue to be issued for first offenses, starting Oct. 1, $15 citations will be issued for second offenses and $25 citations will be issued for three or more offenses.

Upham Drive closure

Beginning Oct. 5 early morning and continuing through 2025, Upham Drive will be closed for infrastructure work that will support future construction of the new inpatient hospital. Specific impacts will be posted throughout construction as warranted.
