A new way to turn heat into energy

An international team of scientists that includes researchers at Ohio State has figured out how to capture heat and turn it into electricity. The discovery could create more efficient energy generation from heat in things like car exhaust, interplanetary space probes and industrial processes.

Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme fellowships, grants

The Global Arts + Humanities Discovery Theme encourages faculty, staff and graduate students to apply for our 2019-20 fellowships and grants. Awards range from $500-$150,000 and include travel grants, field schools, community engagement, opportunities for centers and institutes and more. Deadlines begin Oct. 15 and go through spring.
