Florence Nightingale Day for girls grades 8-12
The American Statistical Association and the Caucus for Women in Statistics are hosting Florence Nightingale Day Saturday (10/27) 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Female students in grades 8-12 are invited to this inaugural event taking place in Jennings Hall, MBI, 1735 Neil Ave., as part of a similar national celebration to promote the science of data. Students can discover career opportunities in statistics and data science, take part in fun activities with data and develop connections. Volunteers needed. Getting around campus
CABS, traffic impacts for Columbus Marathon
The Columbus Marathon takes place Sunday (10/21) 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Several campus streets, including sections of Neil Avenue, 12th Avenue, College Road, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, Woody Hayes Drive, Kenny Road, Lane Avenue and King Avenue will be closed. Access to the Carmack Lots on West Campus will be available via Kinnear Road only. The Med Center Express will continue its normal service. All other CABS routes will be suspended.

Closure at Lincoln Tower
Beginning Monday (10/22) early morning and continuing through Friday (11/2) late afternoon, the "moat" around Lincoln Tower will be closed for construction in the area. Alternative parking, including ADA spaces, will be available in the Midtower Lot. The loading dock will remain accessible. Work will take place weekdays, with the area reopened for the weekends.

Ohio State 4 Miler to impact traffic, parking
For the Ohio State 4 Miler on Sunday (10/28) at 10 a.m., the West Stadium Lot will close at 12:01 a.m. Saturday (10/27). On Sunday from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., vehicles may not be able to enter or exit parking facilities within the race route. Plan for increased parking and traffic demand, as well as traffic delays.

Pharmacy hosts blood drive to beat Michigan
Do you know that your blood donation can save up to three lives? The College of Pharmacy is hosting a blood drive Wednesday (10/31) 11 a.m.-5 p.m. We are competing against the University of Michigan to see who has the highest number of donors. You do not have to be a student from the College of Pharmacy to donate or volunteer. All students are welcome to participate in the blood drive.
