Getting around campus
Closure at Lincoln Tower
Beginning Monday (10/22) early morning and continuing through Friday (11/2) late afternoon, the "moat" around Lincoln Tower will be closed for construction in the area. Alternative parking, including ADA spaces, will be available in the Midtower Lot. The loading dock will remain accessible. Work will take place weekdays, with the area reopened for the weekends.

Ohio State 4 Miler to impact traffic, parking
For the Ohio State 4 Miler on Sunday (10/28) at 10 a.m., the West Stadium Lot will close at 12:01 a.m. Saturday (10/27). On Sunday from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., vehicles may not be able to enter or exit parking facilities within the race route. Plan for increased parking and traffic demand, as well as traffic delays.

The OSU Health Plan and YP4H encourage expectant parents with OSU Health Plan insurance to join the Buckeye Baby program. In addition to educational programs and lactation support, the program consists of four live webinar-based discussions that review pregnancy-related topics, offering support from early pregnancy through delivery and post-partum. Nisonger Center receives NIH grant
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Institute on Deafness and other Communication Disorders awarded a three-year $468,000 grant to The Ohio State University Nisonger Center, part of the Wexner Medical Center and Ohio State’s Neurological Institute. The grant will support the measurement of social communication outcomes in young children with autism spectrum disorder.

Accelerator Awards open for fall funding round
The Accelerator Awards program provides Ohio State researchers with up to $100,000 to advance and further develop promising technologies and bring them closer to market. Researchers can use these funds for concept development, prototyping, coding, market studies and customer validation efforts. College of Law seeking mock trial jurors
The Civil Clinic at the Moritz College of Law is seeking faculty, staff, students and friends to act as jurors for our mock trials Tuesday (11/13) and Thursday (11/15). Jurors will hear an entire case and render a verdict to the court. Then jurors will talk with law students and judges about their verdict and impressions of the trial. Each trial will be two to three hours and begin at 4 p.m. Arrive at the law school by 3:45 p.m. and report to 255 Drinko Hall, the Clinical Programs suite. Light dinner provided.

Study for parents of preschoolers.
The Children and Media Lab in the School of Communication is looking for parents of preschoolers (ages 4-5) to bring their child to Derby Hall to participate in a 40-minute study. Parents will watch a TV show and engage in science activities with their child. Parents receive $20 and a parking voucher. Children receive a small toy.
