Behavioral Health Immediate Care is an outpatient program that offers medication management and counseling appointments for patients needing services bridged until they meet with their outpatient provider to maintain stability, as well as for those needing an appointment for urgent needs so that ED visits can be avoided. Research shows that more than 70% of college students procrastinate, with about 20% consistently doing it all the time. Autism study suggests connection between repetitive behaviors, gut problems

In children with autism, repetitive behaviors and gastrointestinal problems may be connected, new research from the College of Public Health has found. Increased severity of other autism symptoms also was associated with more severe constipation, stomach pain and other gut difficulties. The research helps establish that gastrointestinal symptoms may exacerbate repetitive behaviors or vice versa.

The Affordable Learning Exchange (ALX) is requesting proposals to participate in its next cohort. ALX awards grants to instructors who want to transform their courses using open and affordable materials. This year, ALX is offering its traditional high and low support grants and syllabus review grants in partnership with University Libraries, plus our new Racial Justice and Content Camp grants.
