South African teachers join Mershon programEducators from South Africa and Columbus Public Schools are teaming up for a six-week"Building Civil Society Through Education" project at the Mershon Center designed to assist them in their efforts to promote democratic reforms in South Africa. The project is part of the Mershon Center's Civic Education Program directed by Alden Craddock, and is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of State, Education and Cultural Affairs Bureau.
