Gloria Eyerly and Lakshmi Dutta, Mathematics, were selected Outstanding Undergraduate Advisers for 2003 by Academic Advising at Ohio State (ACADAOS).

Sherman D. Hanna, Consumer and Textile Sciences, received the Certified Financial Planner Award for his paper, "Has Financial Risk Tolerance Changed Since 1983?" at the American Council on Consumer Interests Conference, Atlanta, April 1-4.

Glen F. Hoffsis, Veterinary Medicine, was inducted into the Ohio State Animal Science Hall of Fame, given to graduates of Ohio State in animal science who have demonstrated superior skill, achieved success and practiced service to others.

Golden Jackson, Consumer and Textile Sciences, was awarded the Friend of the Guild Award from the Godman Guild Association in appreciation for her ongoing efforts in the Weinland Park neighborhood seeking to improve communication among diverse peoples, April 24.

Andrew Mitchell, History, was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to Spain for the academic year 2003-04.

Steve Reed, Veterinary Medicine, has been selected to receive the 2003 Research Award of the World Equine Veterinary Association.

Dan Smeak, Veterinary Medicine, received the 2003 Waltham Award of the American Animal Hospital Association at the 70th annual meeting of the AAHA, Phoenix.

Dale Van Kley, History, was awarded the Prix Litteraire Etats-Unis/France by the Association France-Amériques for the French translation of his Religious Origins of the French Revolution, June 11. Kley also participated as a member of the committee of the Commission Franco-Americaine (Fulbright Commission) to designate French Fulbright fellow for study and/or research in the United States.

Karen F. Zuga, Teaching and Learning, received the Technology Teacher Educator of the Year Award from the Council on Technology Teacher Education at the International Technology Education Association meeting, Nashville, Tenn., March 13-15.
