Impact

A Marysville shuttle that provides service and community for older residents in Union County, Ohio, has made a big difference in the lives of passengers. The project started with involvement from Ohio State’s Age-Friendly Innovation Center, a program of the College of Social Work that works to improve communities for older adults through research, education and engagement. Riders are happy to rely less on their family members. For some, it means resuming regular errands that had become nearly impossible.
